Set to take place in Rio de Janeiro on November 17th, the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is almost here, with the organization steadily revealing the duels that will be part of the upcoming tournament. Joining the fray for the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event, the Brazilian powerhouses Paulo Miyao and Junior Righetti will go toe-to-toe in the featherweight division.
Paulo Miyao is locked and loaded for his ADXC debut. One of the most recognizable athletes out there, Paulo is a seasoned athlete and a two-time ADWPJJC champion with many other ADGS titles and even a King of Mats gold to his name. Armed with fast transitions and his fearsome berimbolo game, Paulo has always been a dangerous opponent, and he’ll be in top form as he enters the cage and fights to conquer his first ADXC trophy.
On the other side, Junior Righetti also gears up for his first ADXC match. A Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Michael Langhi, Junior is a promising Alliance representative with a lot of mileage competing around the world. With an aggressive game and some sneaky submissions, Junior just might have what it takes to beat his experienced opponent and emerge victorious from the cage.
