After making history on Brazilian soil again, the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship already has another stellar competition in the works, and it’ll be coming sooner than you’d expect. Headed back to the UAE, the ADXC 8 is scheduled for December 6th at the Adnec Centre, in Al Ain. Opening the fight card, Amir Albazi and Jafel Filho join the fray with a Grappling bout in the featherweight division.
Fighting out of Iraq, Amir Albazi is ready for his ADXC debut. Also known as “The Prince”, Amir is a professional mixed martial artist with 17 wins to his name, with half of those victories coming via submission. Currently competing in the UFC, Amir has a grappling style honed for the cages, which means he’ll be a perfect fit in the ADXC.
On the other side, Jafel “Pastor” Filho will also be making his first participation in the ADXC. An MMA fighter hailing from Brazil, Jafel is a UFC competitor with 16 victories in his career, with ten of those coming via submission. With a merciless arsenal of chokes, Jafel has both the technique and aggressiveness he needs to shine in the ADXC cage, and he’ll be ready to put any opponent to sleep in order to taste victory in the UAE.
