April 15, 2025
Marking the organization's return to France, the ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship prepares to put on another memorable show as the first ADXC event of 2025. Headed to the Dojo de Paris this Saturday, April 19th, the competition brings some of the toughest athletes from Jiu-Jitsu and MMA to show their skills and fight for victory inside a cage, adding a ruleset that favors aggressive play to ensure the action remains high at all times.
With all duels broadcast live and exclusively on the TX7.com platform, the ADXC 9 will feature 15 matches in its line-up, with Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling bouts in the Main and Co-Main Events in addition to duels in the Main Card, Preliminary Card, and the Showcase. With the competition just around the corner, let's take a look at what fight fans will be seeing come Saturday.
MAIN EVENTS
Starting with the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event, the ADXC 9 brings a duel between the French athletes Guillaume Chaine and Thibault Gouti to the welterweight division. An Olympic athlete representing France all around the world, Guillaume is a Judo black belt and 2020 Tokyo Olympics champion with over 15 years of mileage in the sport who honed his martial art against the very best out there, and he'll be tackling an entirely new challenge as he joins the ADXC for the very first time. On the other side, the UFC and Bellator veteran Thibault Gouti also makes his debut in the organization. Armed with over a decade of experience as an MMA competitor and bringing a deadly ground game that was honed for the cages, Thibault is a force to be reckoned with and he'll be ready for anything as he seeks his first ADXC victory.
In the Grappling Main Event, Gabriel Sousa goes toe-to-toe with Anthony de Oliveira in the featherweight division. A returning ADXC champion and a five-time ADGS gold medalist, the Brazilian Gabriel Sousa is back for more after beating Yuta Shimada in the ADXC 2, bringing a lot of action to the cage with his explosive fighting style as he looks to taste victory once again in the organization. Ready to throw a wrench into the Brazilian's works, the French Anthony de Oliveira steps up to the battlefield ready to seize the win for himself and comes armed with his knowledge as a Jiu-Jitsu black belt, the experience he accrued competing all over the world, the techniques he honed as an athlete, and the support of the crowd as he faces one of his most challenging opponents and makes his ADXC debut in his homeland.

CO-MAIN EVENTS
The Jiu-Jitsu Co-Main Event features Davi Vetoraci and Faris Ben-Lamkadem testing their skills against each other in the middleweight division. Coming from a first-round submission win against Amin Boudhina in the ADXC 5, the Portugal-based Brazilian Davi Vetoraci is ready to shine inside the cage once again as he brings his explosive and aggressive game to score a win in Paris. Meanwhile, the British Faris Ben-Lamkadem makes his debut in the organization and brings every trick and technique in his arsenal as a Jiu-Jitsu black belt to add an ADXC trophy to the many medals he conquered in tournaments like the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and Abu Dhabi World Professional.
The Grappling Co-Main Event brings the ADXC veterans Piter Frank and Nicolas Renier to square off in the welterweight division. Returning to the organization after putting one of the most explosive matches of the ADXC 7 against Gesias Cavalcante, the Brazilian Piter Frank is ready to step into the cage once again to fight for victory, mixing his aggressiveness with a welcome dash of showmanship to make sure fight fans will be thoroughly entertained in Paris. On the other side, the French Jiu-Jitsu and Luta Livre athlete Nicolas Renier is ready for his comeback to the organization after facing Geo Martinez in the ADXC 4 last year, and he'll be able to count on the full support of the crowd as he showcases his resilience and technical knowledge to emerge victorious from the battlefield.
MAIN CARD
Joining the Catchweight division, Dory Aoun faces Reda Mebtouche in a Jiu-Jitsu bout. An AJP athlete with over half of his victories coming via submission, the American Dory Aoun comes to represent Checkmat for the first time in the ADXC cage and brings his experience to tip the scales in his favor in the upcoming duel, but he'll be up against Reda Mebtouche, a French Jiu-Jitsu black belt who first rose to prominence as a brown belt who conquered the gold in the ADWPJJC 2018, growing into even more of a menace in the following years as he competed and racked up victories worldwide.
The Main Card will also feature a Grappling bout between Aurelie Le Vern and Salla Simola in the lightweight division. Coming from an explosive victory over Ana Carolina Vieira in the ADXC 7, the French Aurelie Le Vern is back in the organization, and this time will be even more dangerous as she unleashes her game to look for her first ADXC win in her homeland. Meanwhile, the Finnish Salla Simola gears up for her debut in the organization, bringing a fast and aggressive fighting style that makes her a perfect fit for the ADXC and a dangerous opponent for anyone who dares to stand between herself and the trophy.

PRELIMINARY CARD AND SHOWCASE
Coming in the first half of the event, the Preliminary Card will feature six high-octane battles that will set the tone for the competition and give fight fans a taste of what the rest of the night has in store for them. In the lightweight division, Ruan Alvarenga will face Yigit Hanay in a Grappling bout, while Tamara Toros and Stephanie Faure clash bring a Jiu-Jitsu bout to the featherweight division.
